Hacker's stolen the CyberStar. The CyberSquad races through a fizzy Asteroid Belt and solves math patterns to get it back, reclaiming their confidence along the way.
In Coralina, the CyberSquad and Digit marvel at the cybersite's colorful coral reef. Inez hopes to bring back a piece of coral as a gift for her aunt until they learn coral is alive and the reef is under threat! Something is causing the ocean to become hot and murky, and it's bleaching the coral. With the help of an action hero crab, can the kids find the source of the heat before it's too late? Topics: Coral Reefs; Thermal Pollution; Temperature; Mapping; Collecting Data Big Idea: When you protect the health of coral reefs, you also protect the vast amount of ocean life that depend on the reefs as places to live or find food.

The balance and harmony of the Mount Olympus cybersite is controlled and protected by the Music of the Spheres. When Hacker disrupts this balance and throws the site into utter chaos, the kids and Digit have until sunset to make the sound of the music right! For the beat to go on, the kids must recreate the music and find the missing element in the musical pattern. The Big Idea: You can use mathematical patterns to create and understand memorable musical rhythms. Math Topic: Patterns in Music NCTM Links: Algebra, Connections.

(topic: Patterns) - The diabolical Hacker wreaks havoc when he steals the power pods of Poddleville, a cybercity filled with patterns. Our heroes must use math and logic to crack the double pattern that unlocks the Poddles' cyberpower vault before Hacker and his henchmen do! The Big Idea: Patterns are sequences that repeat or change in an orderly way. You can use patterns to predict the next step in solving a problem.

The citizens of Factoria have been put back to work at a toy factory where they get free meals. The problem? The benefactor is none other than Hacker, and the meals all come from vending machines. The CyberSquad and their new friend--a little Factorian girl named Zoreen--suspect Hacker is up to no good, and they discover he's not making toys, but spy planes! To get the Factorians out of Hacker's clutches, the CyberSquad must show them how to grow their own food. Can they put Hacker out of business for good? Big idea: Delicious, healthful vegetables don't just come from the store. They grow from seeds - and you can grow (and eat) them yourself! Math concept: Area.

The Leaders of Cyberspace have gathered to discuss Hacker's increasing influence, when they are suddenly interrupted by Hacker. Buzz and Delete, Hacker's henchmen, hide the leaders including Dr. Marbles, in the building and its' up to the kids to rescue them. Before long, the kids discover that they can only move between the building's levels by scaling its outside walls! So the kids turn the building into a giant ruler in order to keep track of the floors. And when they discover that there are levels beneath what they thought was "zero," the kids must tap into the power of negative numbers. The Big Idea: Numbers don't have to stop at zero! Negative numbers -- numbers that are less than zero -- can extend the range of what you can measure on a scale and give you the ability to compare numbers using direction as well as amount. Math Topic: Negative Numbers NCTM Links: Number & Operations.
